Saint Raphael offers a variety of Co-Curricular programs and clubs designed to supplement the standard curriculum. Certain clubs are seasonal and others are year-round. Participation in certain groups depends on grade level. Contact the chairperson of each club to get more detailed information. Saint Raphael students are trained as Altar Servers to assist during the liturgy
Students will act as Altar Servers during all school masses, weekend masses, and daily mass in the morning

Members of Art Club will work on art projects for school events and hallway displays

All youth at Saint Raphael Parish are invited to join a variety of sports organized in cooperation with Diocese of Cleveland CYO
Athletics at Saint Raphael are volunteer supported and rely on the contributions of volunteers to succeed
Sports include: Basketball, Baseball, Tackle Football, Flag Football, Volleyball, Cross-Country, Track, and Cheerleading

Chess Club is made possible through a partnership between Saint Raphael Home and School and Progress With Chess, a local nonprofit organization with chess programs in over 50 area schools and recreation centers
Chess improves higher level thinking skills such as memory, concentration and pattern recognition, and provides many opportunities for positive social interaction.

All Grade 6 students participate in the annual trip to Damascus Catholic Youth Summer Camp
The trip is an overnight field trip that usually takes place in the Fall

Personal Finance is a before school program that is a year long simulation where students, working in small groups, take their identity from age 18 through 65.
Along the way, they get jobs, pay bills, maintain bank accounts, buy a car and a house, contribute to charities, and save for retirement.
They will also be faced with unforeseen circumstances which will affect their decisions
In the end, the team with the highest net worth wins providing a fun, interactive approach to personal finance

Students compete in 3 rounds of writing (40 minute sessions) against other local schools in the area
Power of the Pen is great for students who love being able to express themselves creatively through their writing, sharing stories with others, and improving their writing skills

Students must produce a science project following detailed guidelines and criteria, and must present their findings to judges who help determine the top projects
